You have the whole day to explore Istanbul after you are transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 Sunday Istanbul Old City

You receive a full guided tour of the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace, and the Hippodrome after breakfast. Tonight at dinner, you will get to know your travelling companions a little better. Istanbul is the only city to span two continents, and you will visit all four locations after breakfast.

Today, we will visit Gallipoli's WWI battle fields, including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair memorials, ANZAC Cove, Johnston's Jolly, original trenches and tunnels, The Nek, and the Gallipoli Museum. We will spend the night in Canakkale (B, D).

Troy, the site of the legendary Trojan Horse, and the magnificent acropolis of Pergamum, a renowned cultural and political centre in its time, will be visited this morning.
Day 5 Wednesday Ephesus, Kusadasi

Today, you can enjoy a guided tour of Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis. We will also visit Mary's House and experience the ancient city's mystical atmosphere. Then, we will visit the Carpet Village, where we will see how carpets are handcrafted and how their value is determined. We will finish the day with a delicious Turkish dinner and a Turkish coffee. We will enjoy a presentation of locally crafted leather products this morning before visiting the white calcium terraces of Pamukkale, where we will also visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. We will swim among ancient columns in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic benefits.
Day 7 Friday Silk Road, Konya

Today we will visit the Sultanhan Caravanserai and Mevlana Museum in Konya along the ancient Silk Road. Don't miss the optional Turkish folkloric performance tonight.
Day 8 Saturday Cappadocia, Goreme, Underground City

Be amazed at the lunar landscape of Cappadocia through the Goreme Valley Open Air Museum, where you can explore an underground city with many levels.
Day 9 Sunday Ankara

We will visit Anitkabir, the tomb of Turkey's renowned Kemal Ataturk, prior to returning to Istanbul early in the morning.
