Upon arrival in the United Arab Emirates, you may enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in Dubai after checking in at your hotel.

After breakfast, take off your Dubai tour with a visit to the magnificent twin minaret mosque and the Jumeirah Mosque, which exemplify modern Islamic architecture. After strolling through the Palastquater “Zabeel” and Skyline at Dubai Creek, you will visit the wind-towered houses of old merchants in Bastakiya. After touring the Dubai Museum in the Al Fahidi Fort, a 180-year-old structure, you will cross the Dubai Creek in an “Abra” (water taxi) to visit the Spice Souk and Gold Souk. Return to your hotel. Dinner will be served on a traditional dhow boat while cruising along the Dubai Creek this evening. (B,D)

Have a hearty breakfast at your hotel and then head to Abu Dhabi, where you can see the world's largest man-made seaport. Stop at Sheikh Zayed's former residence for photos and visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the world's third largest mosque. The tour continues to Al Bateen, home to the Royal Family's palaces. Visit the world-famous Marina Mall for a shopping break before arriving at your hotel. (B)

Today, you will move towards the eastern Emirates and Al Ain that is dotted with numerous subterranean water springs. This once-important trading hub is formerly the seat of the Sheikhs and home to a wealth of desert culture, including an 18th-century bazaar, a camel race track, and a livestock market. After visiting the Al Ain National Museum and Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum, you will ascend Jebel Hafeet. Then immerse yourself in the healing hot springs flowing abundantly at the foot of the mountain. Transfer to your hotel in Al Ain. (B)

• After leaving Al Ain, spend the remaining time at leisure in Fujairah where you will stay overnight. (B)

After breakfast, drive through Oasis Al Daid to Masafi on a desert excursion, stopping at the local Friday Market on the way. From the Hajar Mountains to the azure waters of the Gulf of Oman to Dibba, an ancient fishing village, your trip will take you through rugged terrain. Visit UAE’s oldest mosque - the Bidiyah Mosque. Your tour takes you along the coast to Khor Fakkan and then pass by Fujairah, the only emirate on the East Coast. Transfer to your hotel in Sharjah. (B)

After breakfast, begin your tour of the Emirate of Sharjah, dubbed as the Middle East's cultural hub. Your tour kicks off at the cultural roundabout, before moving on to the Natural History Museum in the desert. Next, you will visit the golden Al Majara Souk on the Corniche, then go deep into the heritage district to have a sense of the past at the Al Naboodah House and Al Arsa Souk. In the Central Souk, you may select from a wide variety of carpets, antiques, and curios. A sand dune driving experience awaits you this afternoon. Afterwards, sit back in a campsite where you can relax in the tranquil desert and have an authentic Arabian Barbeque. Transfer back to your hotel in Dubai. (B,D)
