Your hotel in Istanbul is just a short ride away. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city.

You are taken on a fully guided tour of Istanbul after breakfast, visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace, and the Hippodrome. Tonight you will dine with your fellow travellers to get to know them better.
Day 3 Monday Gallipoli Battlefields

Today, we will visit the Gallipoli battle sites of WWI, including the Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair memorials, ANZAC Cove, Johnston's Jolly, original trenches and tunnels, the Nek, and the Gallipoli Museum.

Today, we will visit Troy, where the Trojan Horse once stood, and then tour the magnificent acropolis of Pergamum. Its impressive temples and library were among its cultural and political achievements in antiquity. We will stay in Kusadasi overnight (B, D).

Today, we will experience the mystique of ancient Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis with a guided tour. After that, we will continue to the house of the Virgin Mary, where we will learn about the handmade carpet industry and its history.

We will start our morning with a demonstration of Turkish leatherwork, and then we will tour the ancient city of Hierapolis, which is located at the Travertines. We will finish our day by bathing in the hot springs, which were once frequented by the Romans for their therapeutic benefits. (B, D)

Today you will journey through rural Turkey and the ancient city of Bursa to visit the Green Mosque and explore the Silk Market. You will then return to Istanbul (B).

Our tour ends after breakfast, and we say goodbye to our new friends. We are then transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
